Stamp-a-Stack.....

Hi All!!!!

I'm back with my first........ and last post for June - shocking isn't it!!! I can't believe it! (I seem to be starting all my postings with the same wordings LOL - apologising for the lack of postings :( And this time I didn't have the excuse of nothing to post either. I have plenty to post (all very late and outdated now LOL) but a week would go by before I even thought about it and when I did it wouldn't be at a time I cold do anything.... So hopefully while on school holidays I will get all caught up :)

So... for starters..... End of May (I know, I know...LOL) I did a Stamp-a-Stack for a group of ladies and these are the cards we made. The lady who booked the Stamp-a-Stack liked blues, creams and browns so I felt that the 'Bella Blu" papers would be perfect! And even though those colours originally weren't a favourite of mine, I found I really liked the cards and the colours so it won't be the last things I make with these colours :)

The first card which they made four of was a female themed card using the 'Bella Blu' paper with Not Quite Navy, Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla with just a touch of Bashful Blue.
The second card was for the males and again, made four of these, using Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip and Night of Navy. Convention goers may recognise this layout from one of the make and takes we did :) and I followed Nicki Tidbold's advice for male cards and have included texture, roughness, tearing etc.
And last we made these four cards (one of each - same layout, just swapping the colours around) These were the children based cards and mixing the colours made them suitable for boys and girls. I was very pleased with how they turned out.
And the response from the ladies tells me that they all enjoyed the day and were very happy also with the cards. And what better thanks than that is there :)
