I can then enter it in these two challenges, <a href="http://scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com/2011/06/new-challenge-has-started.html">Scrapbook Boutique's</a> and <a href="http://fabnfunkychallenges.blogspot.com/2011/07/challenge-80-purple-haze.html">Fab 'n' Funky's</a> LOL<br /><br />I just love Tri-Shutter cards (even though they are a lot of work) and I am pleased with how it turned out... Hope the recipient is also... :)<br /><br />PS: I apologize for the state of the photo as my husband has taken the camera and I had to use my iPhone and even though everyone raves about the cameras in them I don't think they are that good... LOL<br /><br />Here is an entry to the <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2011/07/mojo-monday-198-contest.html">Mojo Monday Blog Challenge</a>.... They have a sketch challenge every week. I have made one or two cards over the years using their sketches but usually well after the challenge is finished.... but not this time!!!<div><br /></div><div>It has turned out exactly how I envisioned it.... I wanted something simple but effective (hopefully) and I really liked how this turned out..... until I saw that this week's challenge is the contest one and now I think it is too plain LOL<br /><br />Another one of my birthday cards down.... :)<div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-89209227545145764752011-07-05T09:15:00.003+10:002011-07-05T09:25:44.331+10:00Challenges....<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-F5VvLPTOCYg/ThJJ0c9S5CI/AAAAAAAAPyw/1o8Fobe1FL8/s1600/P1020584.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 314px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-F5VvLPTOCYg/ThJJ0c9S5CI/AAAAAAAAPyw/1o8Fobe1FL8/s400/P1020584.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625640050014479394" /></a>Hi all - I have set some challenges to myself LOL - I am SO far behind with birthday cards for friends that I have set myself a challenge to get them sent before their next birthday rolls around LOL....<br /><br />While blog hopping (procrastinating...) I came across the <a href="http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/2011/06/x-is-for-crossing-ribbons.html">ABC Challenge</a> for this week which is X is for crossed ribbons. I had no idea what to do for it until I can across a fantastic sketch at <a href="http://fabnfunkychallenges.blogspot.com/2011/06/challenge-79-bermuda-triangle.html">Fab 'n' Funky Challenge</a>s and thought that it would be perfect for the ABC Challenge. So two challenges in one LOL....<div><br /></div><div>I have even made a second card (two birthday cards down LOL) because the design in the middle is what I had originally done for the top card but decided I didn't like it with those colours, so it was just sitting there after I finished the first card so I decided to have another go....</div><div><br />Don't know which one I like better... I like the colours in the top one but the design in the bottom one LOL...<br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CHpL4RmL5h4/ThJJ0JPNKiI/AAAAAAAAPyo/dI4kBz9_8pw/s1600/P1020587.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 308px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CHpL4RmL5h4/ThJJ0JPNKiI/AAAAAAAAPyo/dI4kBz9_8pw/s400/P1020587.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625640044720892450" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-18008490149236050272011-07-04T16:10:00.002+10:002011-07-04T16:24:52.682+10:00Small Birthday Treats....<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EAli4wpmZSo/ThFZ-DrUyhI/AAAAAAAAPyg/pX91ipgXDgY/s1600/P1020212.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EAli4wpmZSo/ThFZ-DrUyhI/AAAAAAAAPyg/pX91ipgXDgY/s400/P1020212.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625376332236245522" /></a>Hi all - here are a couple of little gift items that I made for one of my S-I-Ls. We had already celebrated our birthdays (our birthdays are two days apart so we always celebrate them together) but it was nearly a week before her's so we surprised her with a small celebration and I made these to give her as we had already given her a pressy. The box in the middle held a choccy bar (I think... LOL Has been a while...)<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NN1iw-9hQZI/ThFZ9k1qXBI/AAAAAAAAPyY/_8GQOwWlsEo/s1600/P1020209.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NN1iw-9hQZI/ThFZ9k1qXBI/AAAAAAAAPyY/_8GQOwWlsEo/s400/P1020209.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625376323958103058" /></a>The card layout I took from another card that we made at one of my workshops, which was taken from a layout of one of Kristina Werner's cards. I just adore the simplicity of it....<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0IaVgzk0nIw/ThFZ9eYuV7I/AAAAAAAAPyQ/s8FYlK8DfhA/s1600/P1020211.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 248px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0IaVgzk0nIw/ThFZ9eYuV7I/AAAAAAAAPyQ/s8FYlK8DfhA/s400/P1020211.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625376322226116530" /></a>Im not usually a blue/yellow person but I am loving these colours together... and I just love boxing things. It just turns anything into a really special gift...<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-91gDWGj6Dig/ThFZ9OTvQQI/AAAAAAAAPyI/L-BJUHnwPMc/s1600/P1020210.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 317px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-91gDWGj6Dig/ThFZ9OTvQQI/AAAAAAAAPyI/L-BJUHnwPMc/s400/P1020210.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625376317910237442" /></a>And I was practising making one of these (saw the idea from a Convention swap) so I could show them at a future workshop.... They make such a beautiful gift...Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-74618113074078720042011-06-30T19:21:00.004+10:002011-06-30T19:39:50.806+10:00Seahorse Card?.... What the?.....<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M8e_cmnUYrE/TgxAs0EbVmI/AAAAAAAAPyA/w64RW9H2Kyw/s1600/P1020479.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M8e_cmnUYrE/TgxAs0EbVmI/AAAAAAAAPyA/w64RW9H2Kyw/s400/P1020479.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623941173314541154" /></a><br />Hi all - remember me :) Yeah long time no hear and I'm not making promises this time that I probably won't keep LOL <div><br /></div><div>There is no valid reason why I haven't blogged for so long (not like I haven't made any cards) but I did/am finding it hard to start again... it was like it had been so long that every time I thought about it I would think, no I'll do it tomorrow, and you all know the saying about tomorrow..... so I was sitting here thinking do I want to sit and curse the blogging program again ('cause yes, things have not improved from my last rantings) and thought bugger - JUST DO IT!!! LOL</div><div><br /></div><div>Then came the confusion of where to start... do I start from where I left off or do I put something recent on.... decisions, decisions, decisions...... So I thought I would start with a very unusual one... </div><div><br /></div><div>My sister asked me a couple of weeks ago to make her a card to give to her friend's teenage daughter... easy you say.... she then said she wanted it to have a seahorse on it.... Yeah..... And as I always say to my sister, Yeah no worries, leave it with me :) What to do, what to do, so I make a card with a seahorse picture on it somewhere or do I go all out.... Of course I go all out! LOL<br /><br />I was reasonably pleased with the result, my sister was pleased and the friend's daughter loved it! What more could one want!!<br /><br />Is this where I put in, incase her friend sees this, is that my sister asked me to make it WAY before the birthday and I forgot all about it :} so that's why it has the belated message.... LOL<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-15301156481801000882011-03-01T04:22:00.000+10:002011-03-01T04:22:00.685+10:00Valentines Day....Hi all - My wonderful DH and I don't go all out on Valentine's Day but we do acknowledge it with small gestures like a card, nice dinner at home etc. and here is the card that I made for my DH.<br /><br />I got the idea from <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1905559?&si=corset">here</a>. At first I thought it was an 'interesting' card to give to one's hubby but it grew on me and he loved it. Especially how I wrote in it thanking him for all the 'support' he gives me :)<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VQlwMfERGmo/TWnyr18cirI/AAAAAAAAPfo/bRbJQTLEbhk/s1600/P1020194.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VQlwMfERGmo/TWnyr18cirI/AAAAAAAAPfo/bRbJQTLEbhk/s400/P1020194.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578256448503974578" /></a>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-9558277548908765212011-02-27T15:52:00.003+10:002011-02-27T16:21:42.354+10:00I LOVE Surprises....Hi all - Thought I would show you all what my DH surprised me with at Christmas... A Silhouette SD Digital Craft Cutter!!!! (under the shelf) <br /><br />OMG! I could not believe it!!! I had mentioned somewhere throughout the year that I wouldn't mind one, one day and he got me one!! You can probably guess how excited I was.... <br /><br />And then to top it of.... he then made me a stand for it to go under and for my papers and punches to go on top!! (that was beacause it was sitting on his desk as there was no room on my desk for it LOL but was I complaining... not on your nelly! LOL)<br /><br />Isn't he just the very, very best! {beaming} And doean't it all look so good loaded up ready....<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hfpJgFT61Wc/TWnrZVEeu9I/AAAAAAAAPfc/q1HonDQj3Xw/s1600/P1020073.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 271px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hfpJgFT61Wc/TWnrZVEeu9I/AAAAAAAAPfc/q1HonDQj3Xw/s400/P1020073.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578248433860262866" /></a>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-28549774896406351962011-02-03T13:57:00.003+10:002011-02-03T14:10:06.623+10:00A Note of Thanks...<span class="Apple-style-span">Hi all - I am truly humbled and honoured by the lovely email that I received yesterday from a lovely blogger named Jes to say that she had found a card on my blog and wanted to show it to others. I fell in love with that card and had cased it for a sympathy card also. (I had also double mounted that card so I had somewhere to tie the ribbon around) My friend wanted something similar but wanted it longer to be able to include some pamphlets inside. Even though the colours don't show to well I have used Bravo Burgundy (60th) and trimmed it with gold cardstock. IRL if really was stylish and beautiful. (I was making each item the night before) Anyway I decided I would make 9 dollies dancing but none of my friends who owned a Cri-cut had a dolls pattern (one friend could get it the next day for me but that was too late) ....... Soooo since I had my heart set on this idea (and I couldn't think of anything else that would go)....... I sat up till all hours making these from scratch!!! I found a picture and cut out each doll, each hair, each legs, each, leotard, each skirt... This year I was a little bit slack and wrapped the magoritoty of them just as normal pressies. But I did manage to do one or two fancy items as the main attractions....<br /><br />This Magnolia uses the SU Ornament Punch and instructions can be found <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlczsCli5pg&feature=player_embedded">here</a>. I JUST had to have a go at it when I saw it as it is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! And it is a lot easier than it looks.... Trust me on that LOL... The longest part is sponging around the edges of each piece! Then I made a cute little box to put it on. There is also instructions on YouTube to make this flower into a tea light and that is just as gorgeous!!! I have also made one of those and will post at a later date... if I can find the photo :(</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wS4U79TI/AAAAAAAALr0/_K9EEvu9FIk/s1600/Picture7.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 369px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wS4U79TI/AAAAAAAALr0/_K9EEvu9FIk/s400/Picture7.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552569228998735154" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wSjd0rmI/AAAAAAAALrs/LFI3glUjG5M/s1600/Picture8.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 369px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wSjd0rmI/AAAAAAAALrs/LFI3glUjG5M/s400/Picture8.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552569223398862434" /></a>These lillies are made using the SU large oval punch. I came across <a href="http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/2010/06/punched-paper-lily.html">these</a> first before the Magnolia flower. These were going to be placed on my thank you gifts for the girls but since I had to make 18 of them (and they were quite fiddly) I didn't... sorry girls :)<br /><br />I haven't made mine completely the same as in the instructions but I still think they are beautiful.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wSDf_rJI/AAAAAAAALrk/LsUpbjVRiP0/s1600/Picture9.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 369px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wSDf_rJI/AAAAAAAALrk/LsUpbjVRiP0/s400/Picture9.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552569214818036882" /></a>And these I made because I was just searching for another flower but a very different one... Instructions<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS9f41BXcPk"> here</a>. These use 5 x 3"inch squares for each flower. One folds then up then glues them together, holds them altogether with paper-clips, and then waits till they dry and hope they don't let go LOL.... But they are cute aren't they? People are just so clever!!!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wR0VUuDI/AAAAAAAALrc/sIEFnyPfBdo/s1600/Picture10.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 366px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ6wR0VUuDI/AAAAAAAALrc/sIEFnyPfBdo/s400/Picture10.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552569210746746930" /></a>Anyway hope you are enjoying seeing my works again......</span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><div><br /></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-81711426390967146202010-12-21T06:16:00.001+10:002010-12-21T06:16:00.249+10:00November Christmas Stamp-a-Stack...<div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large; ">Hi all - Mid November saw us all attending our final workshop for the year and our annual Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br />The girls all made 6 each of the two designs shown below. The first card is one that you all probably have seen a version of. There are many different, yet similar designs everywhere. And I really wanted that particular tree so just <i>had</i> to buy the stamp set 'Lovely as a Tree'... am hoping to get a bit of use out of it now though as it has never been a set that has interested me before LOL.<br /><br />I have since made another card using said set so will post photo of it at a later date (famous last words... The first one is of a Spring/Jump card and the instructions for it can be found on Splitcoast Stampers (where else LOL) I did find instructions on the Scor-pal website also and one of the instructions said to cut off the top triangles and the other said to fold them down. We found that the card worked better if one cut them off....</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ3ljP3lboI/AAAAAAAALq8/ddz6BF-cyjY/s1600/Picture1.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 383px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ3ljP3lboI/AAAAAAAALq8/ddz6BF-cyjY/s400/Picture1.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552346309335543426" /></a>Our next card was an Acetate card. I have wanted to try one of these for a VERY long time!!! And to think I thought they would be hard.... I found it to be one of the easiest, most effective cards I have ever made. If you are looking for a really quick card and you would like a WOW factor also then you can't go past one of these!....<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ3lit40JrI/AAAAAAAALq0/EZamrLyscck/s1600/Picture2.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 376px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ3lit40JrI/AAAAAAAALq0/EZamrLyscck/s400/Picture2.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552346300213896882" /></a>And then we finished off making a Christmas lumminerie complete with a battery operated tealight inside.... wasn't as effective as I thought they would be but still fun making them.<br /></span><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ3liYRi_qI/AAAAAAAALqs/ZOTN4DqVZxY/s1600/Picture3.png"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 369px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ3liYRi_qI/AAAAAAAALqs/ZOTN4DqVZxY/s400/Picture3.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552346294412050082" /></a>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-1248121993403654472010-12-19T16:28:00.005+10:002010-12-19T17:03:44.571+10:00Hello....<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ2pLXMzjzI/AAAAAAAALqc/PHPl8IeZ-Qg/s400/Picture1.png" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 284px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552279928289070898" /><span class="Apple-style-span" >Hi all! Every year for Christmas I do a photo card for the rellies and close friends, especially for the ones who live away who don't get to see how the boys are growing. Anyway this year because we have had SO much rain I decided to put a fun element to the card and this is what I came up with..... I have the boys wearing life jackets and I did want them to wear snorkels, goggles, etc also but they wouldn't be in it LOL - The card was made as a strip card (third of an A4 sheet - fits DL envelopes) </span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" >I was pleased with the overall card and have got some great comments from it :)</span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" >Here is the full card:</span></div><div><img src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ2r9qgcOhI/AAAAAAAALqk/x1lde3Xxubs/s400/Picture4.png" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 194px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552282991488416274" /><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" ><u><br /></u></span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" >And would you believe, that when I went to take the photo (after weeks of non-stop rain) it wasn't raining and didn't rain for a week! So I hooked the sprinkler up high for the 'rain' and took the photo (many photos... oh the beauty of digital cameras.... ) And it looks like I'm not going to get my wish. It has started raining again (only lightly) but it looks like we are in for a lot again in the next week and Christmas day.......<br /><br /> I always find it amusing that I, a card maker, doesn't give out hand made cards LOL - but I do give out some... to the girls I work with and also the lovely ladies that come to my workshops...</span></div></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" ><br /></span></div><div><br /></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-51744875088208398692010-12-19T14:00:00.003+10:002010-12-19T14:35:02.297+10:00Something to start off with............<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ2HYMnB6qI/AAAAAAAALqE/VDjKLeZb7Aw/s1600/DSCF4860.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TQ2HYMnB6qI/AAAAAAAALqE/VDjKLeZb7Aw/s400/DSCF4860.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552242765389228706" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span">Hi - all!!! Just in time for Christmas, I have returned!!! LOL - talk about computer dramas.... and the inability to remember to ask the hubby how to fix them LOL.... Well I'm back, but with my reputation, for how long I'm not sure.....<br /><br />First there was just the laziness of my blogging ability..... then we had a major computer malfunction.... where I lost all my programs that I use to edit my photos (programs that we have had for many years and were probably in much need of an upgrade anyway... but you know what it's like when you know a program and if it works for you... why change it, right? So as you can see from my boring photo that that little problem is still not rectified. Looks like I'm up for buying a new program for editing... (any suggestions out there would be most helpful)</span><div><span class="Apple-style-span"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span">Then I decided a while back that bugger the photo, I would put in on as is (as above LOL) but since we have also recently changed our email provider and our email address I then tried to change our email on here going the backward way and succeeded in locking myself out of my own blog and somehow started a new account that would not allow me access to here... which is where my darling hubby came in.... and my forgetfulness in asking him to fix it.... which I finally remembered today, and he did (easy as that! - now why did that take so long.....) Still haven't got it changed to our new email yet but at least I can now access it again..... will leave that in his capable typing fingers LOL.<br /><br />This is a card I made around April for my hubby's cousin...... I just loved the simplicity and the colours of it.....<br /><br /><br /></span><br /></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-85769788744810331182010-06-18T05:04:00.001+10:002010-06-18T05:04:00.976+10:00Birthdays, Birthdays and more Birthdays...<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIqgbpThbI/AAAAAAAAK98/V7SE0jLtAlY/s1600/DSCF4851.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 306px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476986833501128114" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIqgbpThbI/AAAAAAAAK98/V7SE0jLtAlY/s400/DSCF4851.jpg" /></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> Hi all - These two cards I made late March, early April for a team member (above) and my older sister (below) - As you can see I was having fun using my new Big Shot with some texture plates. The one below uses the beautiful SU Manhatten Flowers and the one above is one that I have had for a long time and this was the first time I was able to use it as the sales person at the time said it could be used in my Original Sizzix without any extras. WRONG - I needed an adaptor but never got round to getting one.... Good thing I only bought the one at the time to try :)<br /><br /></span><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIqfy2lZ7I/AAAAAAAAK90/2e-HbpBJXvw/s1600/DSCF4852.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 297px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476986822550972338" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIqfy2lZ7I/AAAAAAAAK90/2e-HbpBJXvw/s400/DSCF4852.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><div></div></div>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-86585847452546726992010-06-10T17:34:00.000+10:002010-06-10T17:34:00.380+10:00Birthdays Again.....<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIxTISeZdI/AAAAAAAAK-E/DrqqYndyk3M/s1600/DSCF4822.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 297px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476994301548193234" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIxTISeZdI/AAAAAAAAK-E/DrqqYndyk3M/s400/DSCF4822.jpg" /></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> Hi all - This is another of those 'catch-up with blogging' posts LOL </span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><br />This is also another of the Mojo Monday sketches which was a sketch for a square card. But I had made the kits up and so gave the girls the option to still purchase the kits. Some asked why I didn't leave them till the next month but since they were Easter cards, Easter was going to be over by the next time.<br /><br />With the first card I just wanted to show the girls how to make a Sweet Cups card (with 'door' of course....)<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S9UtBapD1LI/AAAAAAAAKmQ/Rlk-MkPAiyI/s1600/DSCF4843.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 294px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464323225238623410" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S9UtBapD1LI/AAAAAAAAKmQ/Rlk-MkPAiyI/s400/DSCF4843.jpg" /></a> Then this card was a slight case from the last mini catalogue.....<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S9UtBGHZ9cI/AAAAAAAAKmI/kCR0nQRQM9Y/s1600/DSCF4844.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 292px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464323219728758210" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S9UtBGHZ9cI/AAAAAAAAKmI/kCR0nQRQM9Y/s400/DSCF4844.jpg" /></a> And this basket was a template from the Scor-Pal website.....<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S9UtAkhTHTI/AAAAAAAAKmA/nAKwygoMVn4/s1600/DSCF4839.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 347px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5464323210710555954" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S9UtAkhTHTI/AAAAAAAAKmA/nAKwygoMVn4/s400/DSCF4839.jpg" /></a>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5898302313261484405.post-89905091883327072882010-05-30T18:08:00.004+10:002010-05-30T18:17:14.931+10:00Birthdays....<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIdOvoOrSI/AAAAAAAAK9k/5FHBV1IBwrs/s1600/DSCF5054.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 295px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5476972235976518946" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/TAIdOvoOrSI/AAAAAAAAK9k/5FHBV1IBwrs/s400/DSCF5054.jpg" /></a><span style="font-size:130%;"> Hi all - Have had a WONDERFUL weekend!!!!! This month's theme was children's cards.<br /><br />The first card we made was for a little girl and I have cased it from a card in the new mini catalogue. I have made some minor changes plus have added some beautiful Fine Supernova glitter to make my pony shine.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S_Z_AD4k7BI/AAAAAAAAK8w/nuo3wb8mXWQ/s1600/1005150254.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S_Z_AD4k7BI/AAAAAAAAK8w/nuo3wb8mXWQ/s400/1005150254.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473702036134751250" border="0" /></a></span><span style="font-size:130%;">Then we made a De-Coder card for the boys - Instructions for a De-Coder card can be found <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/decoder/">here</a> at SCS.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S_Z-_lt2roI/AAAAAAAAK8o/hSUsTwrkEf4/s1600/1005160260.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 340px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S_Z-_lt2roI/AAAAAAAAK8o/hSUsTwrkEf4/s400/1005160260.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473702028036714114" border="0" /></a></span><span style="font-size:130%;">Then we made this gorgeous little gift bag using the beautiful Melon Mambo CS and ribbon. I got the template for this from KaiserCraft.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S_Z-_apo9zI/AAAAAAAAK8g/WUnoKiZxk6Q/s1600/1005160259.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 391px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dPQ956EXUMQ/S_Z-_apo9zI/AAAAAAAAK8g/WUnoKiZxk6Q/s400/1005160259.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473702025066247986" border="0" /></a></span><span style="font-size:130%;">Sorry - very short and sweet.<br /><br />Catch ya!<br /><br /><br /><br /></span>Debbie Mhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14462313398399818564noreply@blogger.com4
